Roxanne Garza, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Fresno, CA

Welcome! I’m Roxanne Garza, though many clients call me Roxy. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting women, teens, children, and high-achieving professionals in Fresno and throughout California.

Finding the right therapist is one of the most important steps in your healing journey, and I’m glad you’re here.

I specialize in working with driven, capable individuals who may appear high-functioning on the outside but are quietly managing anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or significant life transitions. I also support adolescents navigating identity, academic pressure, and emotional regulation, as well as children developing coping skills and confidence.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based care. I integrate EMDR, trauma-informed work, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and relational therapy to address both immediate symptoms and deeper patterns. My goal is not just short-term relief, but sustainable change that supports your long-term well-being.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud wife to a retired Firefighter Engineer and Air Force Veteran, and a devoted mom to two incredible children. I’m currently in my baseball mom and dance mom era, spending evenings at the field or at the studio, cheering loudly and embracing the full rhythm of family life. Our home is full of love and a bit of chaos, with our loyal dog Ember, a very active Belgian Malinois, two birds, and two turtles who occasionally make surprise appearances during virtual sessions.

My lived experience deeply informs my work. I understand the complexity of balancing family, career, and personal identity. I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to every session, alongside steady clinical guidance.

When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me hiking local trails, baking with my daughter, enjoying workouts, or planning weekend adventures with my family. I believe in the healing power of movement, nature, and meaningful connection.

I maintain a focused caseload to provide thoughtful, individualized care. Whether you're seeking therapy for yourself, your teen, or your child, my goal is to create a confidential, supportive space where growth feels steady and realistic.

If you're ready to begin, I welcome you to schedule a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

This is Ember!

Say hello to Ember, my beautiful Belgian Malinois and loyal therapy companion. Ember brings a calm and grounding energy to my virtual therapy sessions. Whether you’re an overwhelmed mom, a high-achieving professional, or a parent navigating your child’s emotions, her quiet presence adds an extra layer of comfort and connection, even in a virtual setting.

My therapy practice is based in the Fresno/Clovis area of California, but I work with clients all across the state through secure, HIPAA-compliant online therapy. Whether you're in Northern California, Southern California, or anywhere in between, I offer trauma-informed virtual therapy that’s flexible, confidential, and tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and professionals across California.

Ember’s gentle, intuitive nature reflects the kind of space I aim to create in therapy, supportive, safe, and focused on meaningful growth. Whether you're seeking virtual therapy for families, online counseling for moms, or stress and anxiety support for professionals, Ember and I are here to walk alongside you.
