Insurance & Payment Options
I am currently in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna (including Evernorth), and Health Net, as well as select UnitedHealthcare plans.
If I am not in-network with your specific plan, many PPO plans offer out-of-network benefits that can still be used for therapy.
To make this process simple, I partner with Thrizer. Instead of paying my full session fee upfront and waiting for reimbursement, you may only be responsible for your estimated co-insurance at the time of each session. In many cases, this significantly reduces your upfront cost.
During the intake process, I can help verify your out-of-network benefits and provide a clear estimate of your expected cost before we begin.
Private Pay
I also work with private pay clients. Many choose this option for added privacy, flexibility, and consistency in care.
I accept HSA and FSA cards. If you prefer to submit claims independently, I am happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.
Not Sure What You Have?
If you’re unsure whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can help you check. Many clients are surprised to learn they have PPO benefits they can use.
Fees
Initial Assessment (first session): $215
During this session, which typically lasts 60-90 minutes, we'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, personal history, and current challenges. This is an opportunity for you to share your goals, concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy.
Individual Therapy: $175
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. In my practice, I work with a diverse background of individuals including working moms, stay at home moms, teens and first responders (and their families). I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective therapy. I encourage anyone considering therapy to schedule a complimentary consultation call to ensure we are a good fit to work together. I specialize in working with young kids and adults, focusing on trauma processing, anxiety, depression, and social and relational issues.
Couples/Family: $215
In my work with couples, I approach therapy from a Gottman perspective. This method focuses on fostering healthy communication, understanding relationship dynamics, and resolving conflicts effectively. Together, we can explore strategies to enhance your relationship and create lasting positive change. Couples I see often find themselves feeling not satisfied in their relationship. These are areas where communication seems to hit a roadblock, despite their best efforts. It's often these unresolved issues that lead couples to seek therapy.
